 HOPE IN THE CITY

 I was born in Colorado, moved to various cities in New Mexico and Arizona. In middle school I moved back and was raised in Commerce City. While in Commerce City I attended Adam’s City Middle School, Kearney Middle School and Adam’s City High School.

I was born and raised in religion. After ruining my own life and at the verge of divorce in 2009 I called out to God for help. A man came into my life and shared the Gospel with me. Shortly after I started reading the Bible and gave my life to Jesus.
These are various ministries I served in over the years: prison ministry, homeless ministry, home group, children’s ministry, the school of ministry, men’s discipleship, short term missions both in the US and Internationally.

I attended Calvary Aurora since late 2009 - current.
We sensed the call to go back to the community that my wife and I are from. We both have family and child hood friends that still live in Commerce City.
My wife Audrey and I have 7 adult kids and 8 grandchildren.
My heart is to love and serve the community and watch God change and restore lives through the teaching of God’s Word. 

MANAGING MEMBER

 Under the direction and calling of the Holy Spirit he has been given the honor of teaching the Word of God. The Lord has given him a calling to lead, love, and learn. As a graduate of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa School of Ministry, Jose has been given the Vision to reach the lost in Watts with the Gospel– one housing project at a time. Jose Hernandez is the Senior Pastor of Hope Central Watts in South Central Los Angeles. 

MANAGING MEMBER

Married to my high school sweetheart, Cristina, in June 2019, we strive to honor the Lord in all we do as we raise our two sons, Obadiah and Solomon. I hold a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University and have had the privilege of serving in various ministries, including as a Youth Pastor in Southern California. Currently, I’m a Real Estate Agent in the Denver metro area, with a calling to return to full-time ministry bi-vocationally in the Lord’s timing. Our greatest desire is to see the brokenhearted reconciled to Christ.

MANAGING MEMBER

 Adam Gomez gave his life to Jesus Christ in November of 1995, and soon thereafter

began attending Crossroads Church of Denver where he immediately got involved in

Youth Ministry. After joining the staff at Crossroads, Adam enrolled at Calvary Chapel

Bible College and formed Changed Forever Ministries; an evangelistic ministry that

reaches inner city youth and the incarcerated.  As an evangelist, Adam has led teams to the streets of Mexico City, Las Vegas, San

Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, and Gadsden, Alabama.

As a youth speaker, he has been invited to speak to young people in Public Schools,Prisons, Correctional Facilities, and several Youth Groups such as The G.A.N.G. atVictory Outreach and U-turn Youth Ministries.  As a pastor and church-planter, Adam has planted and nurtured churches for both Calvary Chapel and The Foursquare Denomination.

Adam has trained several pastors and church-planters, serving as part of a nation-wide team that created a church-planter’s training and curriculum called Church Planters Intensive.

Adam has had the privilege of working alongside Denver's Police Department, Colorado's Department of Corrections, and other respected agencies. Adam currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Crossroads Church of Denver in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Adam and his wife, Justine, reside in the Denver-metropolitan area with their three adult children and grandchildren.
